Our founder and principal, Ailsa Page, has a passion for helping people communicate. With over 28 years as a speech and language therapist, she has an innovative style and uses a person-centred and humanistic approach. Ailsa has additional qualifications in utilising horses in therapy and education.
Our team also includes a BACP-registered psychotherapist and counsellor, 2 qualified teachers, assistant therapists and several horse professionals.
Every session is conducted by a minimum of two people; a qualified therapist or teacher AND a horse professional are always present.
We believe in an individual holistic approach. To make sure every one who comes to our centre gets the right help for their needs, we offer free telephone consultations to explore the ways we can help you and your family.
For more information, or to book, please contact.
We also have regular Taster Days and Open Days. Since many of the children we help have difficulties with crowds and noises, and to avoid stress on the animals, places are limited. We usually publish details about a month in advance, so if you would like to attend, please keep an eye on our news and events or Facebook page.
If you live locally, you are always welcome to come along and meet the team in person – horses and humans. There is no charge for these visits, but in order to respect the needs and privacy of our clients, and the horses’s daily routine, we do ask that you book in advance.
